Featured Sessions

Keynote : Sustainability through the whole process - from procurement to recycling
Finnish government has set a goal to be carbon neutral by 2035 and many companies have set their own even more ambitious sustainability targets. To reach these goals, sustainability must now be factored in from the design to the decommission of a product, from raw materials sourcing all the way to returns and recycling processes. What is the corporate´s role in delivering sustainability through this process and how can you measure its impact? How can you improve the visibility and processes across your value chain to reach your targets? How do you leverage profitability, planet and people? Join us as we explore this important topic first through an academic lens via an introductory keynote, followed by a pragmatic panel discussion by influential voices from different industries.

Keynote : New technologies driving smarter production and supply chain
Real-time data and smart use of new technologies can make our supply chains more intelligent and agile, bringing cost savings and improving customer experience. Our case example is Korttelikauppa – an urban grocery store without personnel and open 24 hours. How have they used technology to their advantage? Learn from concrete examples of a highly automated supply chain where partners’ ordering systems are integrated from our case study with Jussi Nummela, the Co-Founder and CEO of Korttelikauppa. Jussi´s presentation will be followed by a 15min moderated Q&A where you will have a chance to put forward your best questions to him.

Keynote : The lessons we learned from the pandemic - resilience in the changing world
The rapidly changing world has challenged the whole supply chain to its core: demand fluctuations, lack of material and product availability, broken transportation and logistics links etc. How should we answer to these changes? What are the strategies we can take forward to build a stronger tomorrow? Lightning talks give us interesting, succinct viewpoints to the subject by three speakers each representing a different perspective on this essential question to today´s leaders.
