The latest eGovernment Benchmark report tells that Europe is gaining digital maturity in online services. Necessary advancements, however, are slow especially in the area of user experience.

More could be done to increase personalization, mobile accessibility, transparency and the simplification of services.

In the biggest public organizations of Norway, the focus is still in the internal development and the organizations. According to the recent Management Events report, enhancing process efficiency as well as employee productivity are more important goals than improving customer experience.
